About me:

Born in Jiangsu, China, I have studied in both China and Germany. I am dedicated to German Idealism (Fichte and Schelling) and the possibilities of dialogue between German Idealism and German Romanticism (Novalis, Jacobi, and Schlegel), as well as 19th-century philosophy (Schopenhauer and Nietzsche).

My thesis is about Schelling, especially his philosophy from the middle phase to the late period, with the aim of finding a bridge between early German transcendental philosophy and late 19th-century philosophy and answering a Kantian question: what is a human being?

Apart from German Idealism, I'm also interested in connecting philosophy with music studies, particularly the idea of absolute music proposed by German Romanticism and its connection to transcendental philosophy.

In my free time, I'm also an active piano soloist.
